Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-01-24T10:53Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-01-24T10:53:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Relatively bright CME first seen to SSW in STEREO A COR2 and then S in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1. There seem to be two or 3 lobes to it (or possibly 2 lobes and a fainter shock, but this is unclear). No EUV source has been found on disk, so the CME is far-sided. Source eruption far to the south, behind the limb is seen in GOES SUVI 284 as movement of field lines after 2026-01-24T10:30Z and more faintly in SDO AIA 193.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

Fitting is difficult because the CME consists of several lobes. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
